Our friends at Valhalla Industries are hosting a Valhalla MasterTech HEV/BEV 101 course at our HQ in Cranbourne West, Victoria on Friday 1st September. If you'd like to take a look at our facility and see how we're rebuilding hybrid and electric vehicle batteries, and get certified training on how to de-power, reinitialise, inspect and service hybrid and battery electric vehicles, then this is your opportunity.

About the course

Attendees will learn how to safely Depower and Reinitialise the vehicle’s high voltage RESS (Rechargeable Energy Storage System) and SELV (Separated Extra Low Voltage System), then confirm correct vehicle operation. Attendees will also learn the knowledge and skills required to inspect, service and maintain HEVs and BEVs, batteries, rechargeable energy storage systems (RESS), perform scan tool diagnostics and basic tests on electrical components.

The 4 units of competency that are covered in our training are:

  • AURETH101 - Depower and Reinitialise Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV)
  • AURETH011 - Depower and Reinitialise Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV & PHEV)
  • AURETH102 - Inspect and Maintain BEV & HEV Vehicles
  • AURETR115 - Inspect, test and service batteries

This course ensures participants and workshops comply with Federal and State legislation and compliance, minimum insurance standards, WH&S codes of practice, all state WorkCover legislation, and AASRA access with B/HEV laws.
