Infinitev Joins Forces with APCO to Champion Packaging Sustainability
Melbourne, Victoria — December 11, 2024 — Infinitev is thrilled to announce its membership with the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), a critical move in our mission to advance circular economy principles.
APCO brings together government, industry, and businesses to tackle complex packaging sustainability challenges. With over 1500 member organizations, APCO’s collective efforts have already seen a 70% packaging recycling rate, aiming for a target of 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable packaging by 2025.
By joining APCO, Infinitev states ambitions for:
-
Innovative, fit-for-purpose packaging solutions: Implementing cutting-edge strategies to reduce the environmental impact of our packaging.
-
Transparent Reporting: Publishing annual Action Plans and Reports, in line with APCO requirements, to track our progress.
-
Collaborative Efforts: Partnering with industry leaders to develop and scale sustainable packaging innovations.
Our membership with APCO aligns with our core mission. As we pioneer circular economy solutions for electric vehicle batteries, we recognize that achieving true sustainability requires integrating these principles across our entire operation, including packaging.
“We are excited to bring the same systems-thinking approach we apply to battery lifecycle management to our packaging strategy,” said Dickson Leow, General Manager, Infinitev. “Every step we take towards sustainable packaging brings us closer to a circular economy, reducing waste, and preserving resources.”
Infinitev’s innovative approach in remanufacturing, repurposing, and recycling EV batteries has already set benchmarks in the industry. We’re eager to apply this expertise to our packaging processes, ensuring that our solutions are not only sustainable but also scalable and impactful.
